Мы же этотуже обсуждали. да. но я хотел это услышать от автора мода. и пусть ответил не он, а опять кто то другой, но пусть хотя бы так. статистически проходимость\стабильность игры приобрела большую весомость\актуальность. но. дискомфорт у меня остаётся. и всё же будет обидно... что если я возьмусь за игру (когда там русик будет под 1.086), а потом будет тот самый релиз. ну очень обидно будет. потерянных впечатлений и время уже не вернёшь. надеюсь у ЛХ не будет проблем с сФалл 5 и примочками ДекРуса. именно с этим набором намереваюсь проходить. хотя придётся разобраться... @Pyranуточни. ты не путаешь 1.083 и 1.084? я про когда можно было полностью пройти. To complete it you'll need to avoid traps, solve some tricky conundrums and kill some bad bugs along the way... SPOILER --- GAME-PLAY HINTS (if stuck in the early game) --- SPOILER -Trials: Use science on the door (and fill the pot). Scorpion tails may help you with the pressure plate. The sequence is up/down/down/up. -If you can't proceed after bribing Gary, check the holding cells in the south. The top right one holds a prisoner who may talk if you get close enough to the force field. -If you're missing the pip-boy look around the prison's "Car Repair" for a map, follow its directions and then down the well. -If you struggle in the first town, remember your instructions of making contact. Best wait for the night and check the motion sensor handed to you. -And now it's only a matter of exploring the world around... -Only thing to keep in mind is that in some cases town rep is a factor to progress. And you may need to do some asking around to find the next clue. Including with NPCs who had previously no comment to make. But that's fairly standard, I think. You should be able to figure it out from here. -Until you're on the final quest. On this last task you need to achieve three things: First, set up an additional way in, secondly, inspect the power situation, and last, find some information on the security system. You'll understand when you get there. SPOILER --- GAME-PLAY MECHANICS (explained) --- SPOILER -In regard to combat difficulty: LH uses a system that adjusts a NPCs max Hit Points based on difficulty level. The higher the difficulty, the more max HP the NPC gets. This HP adjustment is applied the first time you enter a map, and then stays that way for the rest of the game, no matter of later difficulty adjustments. Secondly, LH adjusts *most* NPC's Damage Resistance. Again the higher the difficultly setting the more DR the NPCs get. This can get very dramatic in some cases, and may even reduce your damage-output to a virtual zero. Especially burst weapons lose much of their punch. One way to battle this is to use AP ammo. In opposite to max HP, the DR bonus can be adjusted at any time. -Another difficulty-adjustment is to the barter skill of (most) traders which also adjusts based on game-difficulty. -For the most part of the game you are on probation and need to report back to the prison every 4 months. Consequently, you may want to plan your routes. Normally, you can manage a round-trip of all cities in about four months, but as a rule of thumb; traveling one square of Mountain Terrain takes about 28 hours. -An attempt to steal is already a steal roll and can fail. This roll is usually very difficult. So you need to have a rather high steal skill to check the inventory of a NPC. Stealing an item is then another steal roll (Fo2 standard). -Eating & drinking: Most food and drink items can be consumed manually to remove hunger & thirst*. Some food (food ration pack) and drink (water flask) items are also consumed automatically. Being hungry and thirsty gives stat penalties depending on the ailment (hunger: ST & EN, thirst: PE, IN & AG). Besides items there is also an option to eat at restaurants and to use wells (see helpscreen (F1) for an instruction). Empty flasks can be refilled at wells. *Note on consuming items manually: There is an engine issue [which requires more advanced fixing] for now only items that are consumed outside inventory [i.e. via the "use inventory item on" icon or from an active "handslot"] will remove hunger & thirst. Any item consumed with the inventory screen up (hotkey I) will only have its standard Fo2 effect. KNOWN PROBLEMS & TECHNICAL ISSUES Спойлер - If your keyboard being set to English is too unpleasant you can change this by setting the mod to a language of your choice. Fo2 has a few areas that are language controlled. Those are: Fallout2.cfg (language=english) and data/text/English. Both need to adjust English to the language of your choice. Last you may also want to create a data/art/* language folder and move or copy the splash folder into it, like data/art/language/splash (i.e. data/art/splash is only used when your Fo2 game is set to English, if it's not, then splash needs to be in a language folder as defined in the cfg). Note: changing language in the cfg will only adjust your keyboard, the mod itself will still be in English. - On fast CPUs, time can pass fast during the worldmap travel. To get a slower worldmap travel speed you can change the ddraw.ini settings. Either adjust (WorldMapFPSPatch=1) or set WorldMapDelay2 to higher values. Note that this is just a suggestion! - The number of encounters is intact but if you want more, set WorldMapEncounterFix in ddraw.ini to "1". Warning! This can lead to an annoying number of encounters. - This mod is optimized for resolutions higher than 800x600 (1280x720-resolution used for testing), if you don't have high-res mod installed, you have to manually set it in ddraw.ini. - Using any other Fallout2.exe than the US version "1.02d" included in the mod will give you an error message when trying to start the game, solution is simple enough: find the official "Fallout2 patch 1.02d" and extract its Fallout2.exe to your game folder. If you somehow can't get the official patch, there's a workaround, check your ddraw.ini file and change SkipSizeCheck or ExtraCRC, see what works best for you. - Use only the sfall version that comes with this mod (currently v4.2.7) because it has been tested. Using any other version of sfall will most likely cause unexpected game crashes. - Using a different installation method than described in point 2) (like copy & paste the mod files directly over your Fo2 installation) will cause errors or other irregular behavior. - This version includes everything you need, older versions are not required. - This mod includes a children patch. Atm, it doesn't have any other hero appearance mod. - The highlight-item function is implemented. The pressure on Canada, now referred to as Little America, increases. c.2072: Golden Valley's first mayor born. 2072: The US pipe-line is sabotaged by Canadian protesters giving an excuse to start the annexation which de facto already began in 2067. 2066 to 2076: In this time window (especially 2069 to 2072) the US government builds several facilities to help the war effort. Widespread mutations occur with animals and humans alike. 2082: Due to low radiation (not many bombs fell in this area), the scientists of Silting deem it save to open the vault [or they opened it for a routine check etc.]. They are greeted by the surviving mutants, seemingly having become stronger in the fallout (2080), and are driven back into the vault. Cut off from any supply, reinforcements or hope of escape the scientists and military personnel are plunged into a desperate fight for their lives. The human-mutant war begins. 2083: Necropolis founded c.2087: After returning from their sealed underground vault, the WF Prison continues operations basically until 2321, using their advantages in technology (energy weapons) and facility (secured prison walls & defences) to control the surrounding area. 2090: Vault 29 (Harold's vault) opened c.2090: The Golden Valley first mayor's vault opens [vault unknown]. Age 18. He starts travelling the wasteland. 2091: Vault 8 opens (Nevada begins), becomes later Vault City 2092: The Boneyard founded c.2092: Philton gets (slowly) repopulated/rebuild about this time. Maybe it wasn't hit too bad during the war. 2093: The Hub founded c.2100: After two decades, the human-mutant war at Silting ends. The mutants are defeated and dispersed. Few still remain in the surrounding woodland [until today; 2321]. However, the Silting facility paid a heavy price. Damaged beyond repair and with many of the original personnel dead, the few remaining survivors abandon the facility and travel into the wasteland looking for settlements and new places to live. Those who stayed succumbed to the harsh environment. The vault lies dormant until c.2300. 2102: Richard Grey becomes the Master. 2106: Golden Valley founded. GV slowly attracts people over the next ten years (gold rush) and grows into a city. 2116: Golden Valley prospers, the founder is about 44 and elected first mayor about this time (before this date he was probably just the leader of a growing community, but about this time they slowly became more organized and had proper elections etc. so the term is still 2106-2132) c.2121: The Canville mine opens. 2132: Golden Valley's "first" mayor retires [or dies, disappears etc., lost in history]. [Later, the people of Golden Valley honoured him with a “hero- story” that doesn't reflect the historic truth.] 2134: A small faction breaks off the BoS to explore the Glow. 2141: Vault 15 opens. Marks the begin of the Khans, Jackals and Vipers. 2142: Shady Sands founded one year later. 2161: Fo1 begins. 2162: Fo1 ends. Master defeated. Hub destroyed (FoRes fact; not sure if canon, but it is as far as I'm concerned) by rampaging mutants who scatter all over the wasteland. 2170: FoRes begins. 2186: NRC founded. 2193: The MRC breaks down over a course of events (June 13 to June 20). Power loss, possibly caused by an attempt to break into the facility, resulted in a waste leak which further damaged the installation. On the last day of the events, the AI eliminates a significant group of intruders, but the damages received over the past week cause the AI to gradually shut down. On December 12 the MRC goes dormant. 2235: Gecko is founded. 2236: Enclave finds Mariposa and FEV. 2241: Fo2 begins. 2242: Fo2 ends. c.2250: A group of people starts to rebuild the old Duntown power plant in c.2250 [Note: this is a rough guess.] c.2300: About this time a group of slavers (lead by Pete) stumble upon the Silting vault. Assisted by the technician Roy, they repair some of its functionalities, and use it as their base of operation. c.2300: The ore trade between Miners Town and Farmers Town ends due to payment disputes. The mine closes. This causes Farmers Town a significant loss in trade and caravans. c.2311: The Canville mine expands rapidly to find new mineral veins and becomes increasingly unstable. Accidents increase. [This further threatens the economy of Canville. Originally trading iron ore for fuel, they by now use the mine (coal) to power themselves. In addition the coal reserves seem to run low. All together the decline and risk causes people to leave the city.] 2317: Philton civil-war. After 5 days of fighting, Donson defeats the corrupt city-council with help from the WF Prison. [Note: The old Philton council sold the city's food and water supplies for personal profit [reign of greed] and blamed raiders disguised as caravans for it. Still, unsure how much of these claims are true, Donson stops all [most] caravans from entering the city as a precaution.] 2320: Christopher kills the accountant of the Duntown power plant, Charles. [This should end the skimming, but the stolen money remains lost.] 2321 (February): Miners Town is attacked by the Dogs gang. They beat back the attackers after a 5 days siege but took some loses.
